When it comes to facing a double mastectomy, the tables are turned. In this blog, I’ll share my experience undergoing a double mastectomy while juggling my real estate career. When I first found out that I needed a double mastectomy, I was understandably nervous.

My experience undergoing a double mastectomy was certainly challenging, both physically and emotionally. But one thing that helped me get through it all was my real estate career. Despite the pain and discomfort, I found that focusing on my work and helping my clients buy and sell homes gave me a sense of normalcy that was incredibly important.

Of course, there were challenges along the way. There were days when I felt tired and sore, and had to take a step back from work. There were also times when I struggled to balance my real estate career with my recovery and self-care. But through it all, I found that my real estate broker was the most amazing and supportive.

Now that I’m on the other side of my double mastectomy, I feel a sense of gratitude for the role that my real estate career played in helping me cope. It’s not always easy to balance work and personal challenges.

I hope that my story serves as a reminder that it’s possible to overcome even the toughest challenges when you have a strong sense of purpose and a supportive community around you.
